The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Jorge Bravo during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward Eccentry Holidays.

Eccentry Holidays is a vacation ownership membership program that operates out of the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort. Clients can purchase a membership and are given access to usage of a timeshare condominium with inventory. Additionally members can benefit from hotel and cruise discounts.

Leads for Eccentry Holidays are obtained from individuals who are staying at the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort. After being checked into their room if a potential customer expresses interest in their program the concierge takes down their basic information, and they are assigned a sales representative. The sales representative then has a presentation where the details of the program are explained and a unit model is shown. If the potential clients decides to become a member they are then provided with a gift, and a contract is signed further explaining the details of the program.

During the onsite interview, Jorge Bravo was asked to describe some of the common complaints that Eccentry Holidays receives. Mr. Bravo expressed that sometimes a client will purchase their program, and then wait an extended period of time before using it, "sometimes a year later they don't remember what they bought or how to use it." If an issue like this arises Eccentry Holidays will explain the details of their program, and will accommodate their needs to the best of their ability. If the customer is still dissatisfied, "if they're not satisfied we apologize [for the misunderstanding]. The customer is always right...we will work with them, a lot of the times we will give them a free vacation." Clients are often satisfied with the resolution, and in order to ensure satisfaction Eccentry Holidays makes sure there is written communication between themselves and their clients when dealing with complaints.



When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Bravo expressed that one comment was made from a disgruntled ex-employee. The additional complaint was made by a customer and is currently in to process of being resolved, "we're going to contact you, and if you're not happy we're going to make you happy whatever it takes." Mr. Bravo additionally stated, "our policy here is we do everything in our power to make the customer happy."

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to make things right with the customer per the request of Ripoff Report. Mr. Bravo expressed that they've made changes both legal and internal, "we've changed our contract to make sure all of the most important parts are there." In reference to internal changes, "our customer service does immediate follow up. We have a CRM that tracks everything...every interaction is recorded."

How does a business get Ripoff Report Verified™

The member business allows Ripoff report to email everyone from the past. Those who respond to Ripoff report with a valid complaint must be take care of.. they have made a commitment that if anyone contacts Ripoff Report in the future, they will make things right within 14 days. The member business must err on the side of their customers. Otherwise the member business is off the program.

We can verify, that Ripoff Report went to the business, verified their business or “work from home business”, there for, if a customer in the future does not get treated correctly, Ripoff Report can get the problem resolved. If not, and the customers is right, the member business will be taken off the Corporate Advocacy Program. Remember, Ripoff Report emailed every customer from the past that filed a complaint to make sure the member business made things right with customers from the past. Again, to err on the side of their customer, those from the past and those in the future.

This complaint appears to be from a former employee, not a member or customer of Eccentry Holidays. none of the accusations are true, and complainant presumes to know the philosophy of the president of the company, Jorge Bravo.



Ecentry Holidays promises cheap vacations using a 3rd party provider called Holiday Systems International (HSI). They call it their parent company which is a lie. HSI has been in business since the early 90's but Eccentry Holidays is barely one year old. They will promise you discounted weeks, they arw the left overs of the timeshare world and of course you have to pay for them. They say from 249 to 1200 but some weeks are over 2000 dollars. The price you pay for the membership is pure profit for them. Don't fall for it. With them you own nothing and they might be out of business by year's end. They will hire anybody that walk through the door and fire them as easily. Mexican owner Jorge Bravo's philosophy is that most people are stupid and will fall for this kind of crap. My wife purchased this membership and we can't go.anywhere we want.
