EchoStar - Dish Network Dish Network Ripped me Off!!! Littleton Colorado

This company took $601 out of my checking account without even asking. They claimed it was because I did not return my equipment. Then had the nerve to send me a bill for $53 f or a disconnection fee. This kind of business practices should be illegal.

I contacted my bank who informed me that since they used my bank card for the service they had a reference number and there was nothing I could do until the charges went through then I could file a dispute, which I have done.

I returned my equipment to Dish network. They stated while I was disputing the charges that they were in reciept of my equipment after I informed them that I went to ups myself and recieved a tracking number for my shippment to them. Then they told me they would refund the money but it would take up to two weeks???? WHAT!!!!! They can take my money but not return it for two weeks. This company has to be stopped. They are ripping people off!!!!

I think a class action suit against this company is what is necessary for this not to happen to others in the future. I want my money back and I want this company to have consqences for it's actions towards the innocent consumers. The problem with Dish Network is they only care about the $$$$ not the customer. Time for them to learn a lesson the hard way. Through the court system.

My contract clearly stated I declined the contract for 18 months. I don't plan to let this company rip me off. If I have to file an action against them so be it. We should all state together in a class action suit against this company to stopped this injustice.
