Economy Movers Houston, TX Clear Glue Tape and NO Bubble Wrap on wood furniture Houston, Texas

Economy Movers in Houston Texas was referred to me by a friend because they had just moved her.  When Economy Movers did her move, they used bubble wrap, good tape and did a good job, with no furniture damage.  But somehow, when Economy Movers moved our furniture, they used clear, gluey tape, and NO bubble wrap whatsoever.  They taped all the drawers of my wood furniture and when we pulled the tape off, the stain on my wood furniture came off with the tape.  They also BROKE one leg off a table.  They scratched and damaged the top of my black table. 

They arrived one hour late (not a big deal) but we had all the beds disassembled, all boxes packed, and all ready to move.  They arrived at 1:00 p.m. and finished at 9:00 p.m. that night!!  Eight hours to move furniture that was already packed to move. 

I called the owner "Miguel" at 832.656.4908 and asked him to come over and look at the damage.  He did come over.  He said "the glue will come off the furniture."  He said they did not break the table leg and that we broke it after the movers left.  He said they did not damage the table top and that we damaged it when we moved the table.  He would not take responsibility for anything.

The head mover of the 3 guys that came to move us admitted that the two guys he brought with him had NEVER moved furniture before.

Eight hours to move us, furniture broken and scratched, and tape leaving glue all over all my wood furniture is the end result.  I did not want to file this report but Miguel would not refund any of our money or take any responsibility.
