EdgePark Medical Supplies Require order before providing insurance information Internet

I got a prescription for compression stockings for edema.  The physician referred me to a vendor who did not take UnitedHealthcare.  The vendor said Edgepark Medical Supplies did. 

Next day, I called UnitedHealthcare and was told they don't cover compression stockings.  I called Edgepark to ask if they did.  I was told I have to place an order and THEN find out what coverage I have.  I hung up the phone. 

I felt much too vulnerable to being charged with no coverage and having a big hassle financially.

Take your chances if you want, but I won't.
