eDressMe.com has created a website that is hard to navigate for a reason.  They want to hide information about their 20% restocking fee!  They have a 20% restocking fee on all merchandise returned except for the first item ordered.  The restocking fee information is purposely buried in their return policy.  I have been ordering clothing online for almost 10 years.  I am a savvy internet shopper, so I can tell you, this type of policy is unheard of when ordering clothing online. I ordered 3 dresses totaling $896.95 because I wanted to see if any of them would work for me.  None of them did, and when I emailed the company for a return authorization number, only then did they send me an email notifying me that I would be charged a 20% restocking fee.  Why didn't I receive that information in my order confirmation email?  Because I would have immediately cancelled my order!  Nowhere throughout the order process do they alert the buyer that they will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. If they really wanted to be honest with people, there would be a step somewhere in the order process that says, You have more than 1 item in your shopping cart. Please note that all items (except for 1) will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. This companys business model is to take advantage of people!

When I called them (by the way, they are nearly impossible to get ahold of which speaks volumes about how they operate) they stated that I should have read their return policy.  Well, I did read their return policy, but the information about the restocking fee is in a separate section called restocking fee.  When scrolling looking for returns, it is not mentioned within that section. All the supervisor did was argue with me and tell me I should have read the fine print.  Never once did she say, If this information was unclear, we apologize and we will take a look at our policy to make sure it is clear to people who order in the future.  The most ridiculous part of this is that if I had ordered all 3 dresses separately, in three separate orders; which, by the way, means much more work on their end with packaging and shipping each order separately, I could have avoided the restocking fees!  What a ridiculous business model.  It is blatantly obvious that this business wants to do nothing more than take advantage of people.  Their financial plan is to rob people of their hard earned money by collecting restocking fees. To try 3 dresses on, It cost me $186.55 + $15 return shipping.   I learned the hard way and I don't want anyone else to be conned out of their money the way I was. I caution anyone doing business with edressme.com.
