I purchased the eheat electric wall mounted heater on 6/14/16 and while using on 5/23/17 (still cold in new England) the unit caught fire. I was able to put it out but the house had filled with very acrid smoke. 

The eheat, Inc. company simply wanted to replace the unit. They have not addressed the possiblity of a recall or explained to me how this electric wall heating unit was defective.
