To Karol and her husband, the notion of treating people with respect and dignity is so far removed from their comprehension that they now have a situation like this on their hands. We have now two very saddened and disappointed dog owners, and one very defensive breeder. I hesitate to use the word breeder here, so let's call her an importer. After all, she did in fact import this dog from Russia.

Let's look at the facts. They breed dogs out of their backyard. That is what they do. They are not veterinarians, scientists or doctors, not by any stretch of the imagination. They can "guarantee" whatever they want but they really have NO control over the health of the many of puppies they sell or import. They sold us a sick dog, and told us that we were getting a show quality dog. We took the dog to multiple vets and they all concurred that what we had was NOT A SHOW QUALITY DOG. Our dog was born with kidney failure. We spent over $1,000 on this dog in vet bill alone within the first 6 months. This is what they sold us from their house, in their living room and looked us straight in the eye and told us we were getting a show quality dog. They even told us they would help us show our little precious Sasha.

Here is how it all went down:

We called them and they allowed us to come over to their house to see their puppies. They showed us all their puppies, most of which were not ready to take home because of their age. Then we saw Sasha. She was running around like crazy chasing a ball. She was beautiful and playful and had tons of energy. We immediately took to her because of her vivacious nature and we started to check her out more closely. We were informed by Karol that they intended on keeping her for themselves because they were so happy with how beautiful and great she was, as well as being from champion bloodline. They then told us about how they travel around the country and state to show their dogs and how they buy very expensive dogs from Europe to breed here in the states so they can sell more show quality dogs. This talk led us to believe that we were getting a show quality dog. They showed us pictures of happy owners and told us warm and fuzzy stories and further made us believe that who we were dealing with was a professional breeder intending on keeping their customers happy. We truly did believe them.

We inquired more about Sasha and they let us know that she was cheaper than the others. We were told it was because they wanted to keep her but now they changed their mind. She would be discounted because they wanted to make sure she was sold. We did not buy her because we were trying to cut corners, we bought her because 1) they led us to believe that we were getting a show quality dog, 2) she was playful, happy and full of life and 3) we were getting a great dog at a sale price. We didn't go to Elite Euro Boxers to save money. We went to find the best quality dog, and if we could spend $1,500 to get a dog they normally sell for $2,500-$3,000, well we were listening. We are not wealthy people. We were two people looking for a new addition to our household after our first boxer suddenly died from heart failure. We were finally over her death and we wanted a new companion for our second boxer.

We purchased her that night and took her home.

Immediately we began to notice that she urinated constantly and drank enough water to hydrate a hot and tired horse. She drank and drank and drank. Then she would drink some more. After realizing that a vet needed to probably take a look at this, we took her in. The vet at Petsmart told us that her age was not correct and they the breeder had lied to us about how old she was. She harshly criticized Karol for selling us a show quality dog and told us in fact she was NOT a good quality dog and that we had bought a mediocre quality dog. We then took her to Karol's personal vet and he determined that she was NOT in fact as old as we were told and guesstimated that she was twice the age as purported. We told him about her urination issues and then we ordered expensive tests to be done, when it was determined that she had kidney failure. We contacted Karol to let her know.

It was then we started having problems with Karol returning our phone calls. She repeatedly ignored our calls and never called us back. We visited her house where some teenager told us they were sleeping and would call us later. We were put off and ignored for some time like this. It was a horrible feeling. A brand new puppy that was so sick and they people who sold her to us ignored and disrespected us so much it drove us to tears. Tears of desperation. Tears of disappointment. Tears of sadness. We were told we could have another puppy, and then they stopped returning our phone calls again.

We did not want to give Sasha back and have her put down. Karol said that this is what she was going to do. We kept her and now we are left with a sick dog who has cost us a lot of money and time and grief. Karol could have made this right by sticking to her word, but instead she hides behind some bullshit "guarantee" and claims that Sasha was not her dog.

It's sad really. Sad that two happy and eager dog owners just wanted a healthy puppy of show quality. Sad that Karol deceived us so quickly with no real thought as to the pain and sadness this situation caused us. I feel ashamed for her and for her business. Her lack of respect to us and to the situation showed us her true colors. Shame on you Karol Alva for doing to us what you did.

In the end, she concedes that what she sold us was NOT of high quality. Her last sentence of her reply says IT ALL.:-------------

You did not want to spend too much money Remember??? So you took this pup instead of one of my quality ones."

Sorry, but this does not make sence to me

My husband and I were looking for a european boxer because we heard they live longer then regular boxers. Right before we searched for Elite Euro Boxers, we lost one of our two boxers because of a heart problem, and the other one got diagnosed with Cancer, so we had to get her front paw amputaded. they both were very young dogs.

That was really hard for us, we loved our dogs.

Anyway, the fact is that Karol and her husband sold us a puppie saying it was a "show quality dog", and bla bla bla. We really just wanted a healthy puppie, that could Be part of our lives for years and years.

Hours later I took her to the vet  and the first thing he told me is that she was a sick dog, (kidneys failure), much older then what Karol told us, and not a show quality dog AT ALL. I took her to 3 different vets and they all said the same.

We were devastaded and I called Karol, emailed, even went to their house (where they sell the puppies) and just one time she answered my phone call, after I left lots of messages, and she told me that she was going to replace the puppie.  I even told her that I would keep the puppie (I was afraid of them putting her down, I got really attached to her in just a few days, and I knew they didn't want a sick dog). I just asked her for part of my money back, at least to cover part of the medical expenses for the puppie. I really wanted to work something out, and not having to put that beautiful puppie down like it was just something broken that I would return to the store. Dogs are way more then that to us. She told me she was going to call me back, and she never did. That was over a year ago. I left more messages and NOTHING.

I would never do any kind of business with those people. They played with our feelings, for them that was all about money.

At least the owner provided paperwork PROVING that the dog has pulmonary stenosis and is prescribed for it. I suppose most boxers have this as my friends did too. I just know  it has something to do with the heart valves being weak and deteriating over time. Pulmonary stenosis is not a mumur, but more like a V8 engine only firing 6 cylinders. It's bout just as bad though.

I know for a fact this dog is very healthy,I have a friend who owns a male from this boy Gladiator and he is in very good health past all health testing,and is on his way to a working title.

Gladiator is 100% healthy and I have all the documentation to prove it!
I do not have to sit here and explain my self and waste my time just because some jelous envious people like to talk and lie!!! Jelousy is the reason why this person posted this and I know its not some breeder in FL either. that why we have IP trackers!!!
Anyways he is health tested and healthy to breed, here are his health test results and you can contact all the vets you would like :D
