Elite Foods MO hasn't changed in Tampa Florida
*Consumer Suggestion: Thay're Now In Pittsburgh,PA
I too received a visit from 2 salesman of Elite foods - Craig and Theresa. I told them to come back, they said they couldn't. I was told they would hold my check for the 10 days I needed before pay day. Two days later it showed up in my account as did numerous NSF fees. I have tried to call both the salesman and the company - no answer. The lesson I learned was: not to trust people - a sad feeling as I have a tendency to trust.

Was on a business trip and spotted several of their trucks parked in a small lot. Small white pickups with the logo on the side.
Folks, if you're even CONSIDERING buying from this company please do your homework. Take a serious looks at what they're peddling. Is the meat clearly marked with the USDA GRADE and weight?? Probably not. Stating that meat is USDA inspected is not the same as having a real USDA GRADE. Don't accept verbal statements from the saleperson as truth. Is there a guarantee? Ask to see it in writing. Is the salesperson ANXIOUS to make a quick sale. Very likely. Ask to see a copy of their written receipts. What? They don't have any? Ask if they're licensed to do business. Ask to see the license. I guarantee they'll scurry away faster than roaches when the lights turn on.
If you compare the quality and price you get at the local market you'll see it's a no-brainer. Go with the market product. It's always the safer bet.
