eMachines, Inc. computer manufacturer gives a toll free phone number for tech support in their warranty. However when this number is called all the customer gets is recording giving a long distance number to call for that service. While the tech support is free during the computer warranty period the call involves long distance charges. Is this purposely designed to mislead the purchaser of the product?
