I opened my phone bill from Embarq and found three unauthorized charges from three different third parties. Embarq told me I would have to contact them directly which meant four more phone calls and lots of my time. the companies were ILD, ESBI (one email a day & intellicom messaging). Each charge was $15 for a total of $45. They all told me it was authorized by someone named Avery Harrison. I think it was a fake name, but I do not know that for a fact. I do know that they tried to scam me out of $45 and my phone company does not seem to care. I am going to probably switch carriers.
