*Consumer Comment: Why?
I got a letter in the mail saying that I won the Irish Foundation Lotto and they sent me a check for 3,658.77 and ask me to cash it and send it to Stephanie Andreda in Ottawa Canada to amont of 3,450.00 and I did and the check was not good/ I spoke to James Craig at Emerald Financial Group. Now he is telling me that my money is at the US Customs and for me to send him 2,500.00 to get my money. Now I am out of 3,658.77 that I had to pay my bank back. The check came fromCardinia real estate LLC the Northern Trust Bank.

If you won the Irish lottery or whatever then why would you cash the check for the supposed winnings and send the money via wire transfer (about the only way you can't tell who actually received the money) to another country. Sorry to say but this is one of the oldest scams in the book but next time you want to give away three tousand some-odd dollars my hands are open...
