I was scouted by a man in a suit walking around in the city. The scout worked for a modeling agency call emodels. They give you a card and make you fell all important, as if you were the only one on the block who mattered at that moment.

The scout sends you to an office were other special people like you have been scouted. The process here is to fill out paper work and listen to a bunch of people talk you out of 500 dollars. They even go as far as looking at your teeth.

After this huge talk they make it seem like not everyone in there will get chosen when everyone does in fact. You have this rush two minute interview with a representative of this modeling agency, who makes it seem like this is a real important step and they make sure they say that you need to be financially stable to take the next step if you are chosen.

You are scheduled for what is suppose to be the most important interview,to make sure you qualify to be on the website, which as long as you have the money your suddenly a model. At this interview they take three polariods of you and say they will make a digital comp card of you, and thousands of places all over the world will have access to your pictures. They also promise you that you will be getting work within 2 weeks.

Once you paid the 500 dollars there is a twenty dollar rent fee you must pay them monthly in order to stay on the site and everytime you want to add a new picture its another 15 dollars.

Oh yeah and the jobs, first of all you don't recieve all these emails that were promised, if you even recieve an email it will probably just let you know of some adutions being held for example: Change of hearts, which I think basically anyone can get on that show, without having to be in a modeling agency. Basically the stuff they send you is regular info you can find in an add or a comercial, etc.

So don't be surprised if your not modeling on a Ford runway. Oh yeah my agent, dissapeared, so if your wondering why your not dealing with the same people you were dealing with from the begining, it probaby goes to show maybe she got sgrewed out of her money as well.

Almost fell for it!

A couple of days ago I have received a phone call from Trans Continental agent. He wanted to set up an interview with me right the next day responding to the resume I have posted on Monsters.com.

The resume had nothing to do with modeling, but that's besides the point.

Basically what he said was that during my interview they need to see if I am a good material for a model and that the process includes taking a couple of photographs of me, some measurements and at the end they will have a short presentation on how the company works if I qualify.

When I asked about if there is any fee, he said that first they have to see if I am the right type of material.

The next day I went on the internet to check their website which seems pretty impresive but I also found this website that helped me avoid being ripped off !

Thank you.

Oh and I have totaly lost my trust to Monsters.com but they still send me emails about an internship with Trans Continental. How funny is that!

I am convinced with proof that what she wrote is the absolute truth. Make sure that if you decide to go with these scammers that everything is in writing all the time
