I had a back injury a couple of years ago; my doctor sent home with me this EMPI device to send pulses through my back for pain relief. I did not agree to purcase this product; however, I was sent a bill from EMPI that I owed $265 (after insurance). I tried to return the product to them, but they sent it back to me saying that couldn't accept it. Now it is on my credit report as a collections unpaid. I don't know how to get out of it, because I have applied for a bank loan and that is showing on my credit report, and I have to pay it to resolve it. Unfair, but what can I do?
