Actually..they did nothing wrong...

Perhaps they said they were going to junk it..but decided to try to sell it "as is". They stand to make more from the vehicle if they sell it, then junk it.

They stated it is sold "as is" and needs an inspection. They can't allow it to be test driven since apparently it is not inspected..hence not legally road worthy.

So..don't buy it..buy it "as is" or pay what they are asking to have it inspected. Granted an inspection may not cost them 100 bucks..but they are not in business to work for you. it take time to have an inspection done..time is money. If you want the car so badly pay them for the inspection or have it towed at YOUR expense to the inspection station. Or the best bet..find a different piece of s**t to buy that is already inspected and can be legally test driven.

Just for curiousity sake, was that Monte Carlo a Green 1998 ? If it was then it was the one I traded in and it was a piece ofsh*t and would not pass inspection. Had lot's of work and needed much more. When I traded it in for a newer car they said that one was to be junked. So I was just curious if that was my old car.
