I am sorry that I didn't read the other reports before trying this employment resource company. My story is similar to others posted on this sight. My initial contact through this company was through spam. Thus, it probably wasn't the brightest idea to use them in the first place. But on first appearances they seemed fairly legitimate, especially when you look at their disclosure policies etc.

Anyway, I signed up for a free thirty-day trial according to the solicited trial sent by Employment Crossing sent by a John Simpson. Despite the fact that they mentioned my card would never be charged, they said they required credit card information for administrative purposes.

I used the service for about a day or so. I realized most of the job searches they provided could be found by doing a simple search on google, many of which were open-ended employment opportunities. The bottom line: there weren't many job postings anyhow.

Four to six months past and I forgot about the company. Suddenly, I noticed some strange charges had a appeared on my credit card. The credit card statement read, "schools and education services". Since I purchased periodicals related to education, I overlooked the charges initially. With further investigation, I discovered this charge was made without my approval by Employment Crossing. Pretty sneaky, hunh?! Again, Employment Crossing portrays themself as a "school and education service" on credit card statements, not the so-called employment service they really are.

Next, I tracked down the company phone number for Employment Crossing, Pasedena. After spending some time with a customer service gatekeeper. I finally was put through to the gentleman John Simpson. After hearing his very thick accent, I am suspect of who this guy says he is. If anything, the likelihood is that he had a name change.

After telling him my story and fact that I have never used his site since the day that tried it out, John said (in different words) that the burden off proof was upon me to deliver him the original e-mail making the offer. I explained that I probably no longer had the e-mail. Also, I told him to check how many times I had logged into his service. He would clearly see that I had not used the service since the trial period, so there would be no chance I would be lying to him. I also wanted to know why he had just recently started charging my card and not just after the supposed 30-day trial had ened. (There was a three to four month gap between periods). He asked me to try to find the e-mail and call him back.

Of course, I no longer had the promo/spam/ e-mail advertisement and when I called back, I was put endlessly on hold or told John Simpson was unavailable.

I am currently faced with over $100 dollars in unauthorized charges by Employment Crossing.

If you are thinking about signing up with Employment Crossing, Marketing Crossing, Sales Crossing, Legal Crossing, Education Crossing, Design Crossing, Engineering Crossing, Account Crossing, Admin Crossing, Advertising Crossing, Architecture Crossing, Banking Crossing, Biotech Crossing, Construction Crossing, HR Crossing, or any the other aliases the company uses, I would think twice. Plus, there seems to be numerous complaints about them posted on other sites as well.

One sure misrepresentation of their company has got to be their size and capability. Judging from the fact that you get the same customer service agent when you call each time, I highly doubt Employment Crossing has the
"500 experienced researchers and sophisticated artificial intelligence" they claim or the "advanced method of classifying employment jobs". Most likely this is a giant web crawler/software application or search engine that searches company website's employment section.
