Encore marketing has ben chariging my credit card monthly for 14.95 but I can't find a phone 3 to contact them and the web site is down. How do I contact them to stop it. anyone got any info for me? thanks

That pesky trial offer again.

Yep, that's most likely what it is.  Somewhere, online, you entered your credit card number and got signed up for a trial offer with out realizing it and when you didn't call to cancel, they started charging.  These offers are usually hidden in the fine print when you order something or sign up for other services.

You should be able to dispute some of the charges with your bank.  Usually, these scam companies don't bother responding.  It's going to depend on how long they have been charging you on how much you may get back.  There's no guarantee that this will work, but it's a start.

Also, while you have them on the phone, report your card lost or stolen.  They will change your account number and send you a new card.  This should stop any future charges.
