Please do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this one as you can. They take full money b4 u come n dont have money to pay bills. They sell guarantee course n they kick everyone off the course. accomidation is included in course, n so many have been kicked out of housing, n ve go to office and find out they kick us out when lease comes up just to save money. They leave us stranded like dogs. They kick a student out for stain on a rug. If you retaliate they kick you out. Parents call n call n call n no one answers the phones, or cell phones. Karma will come to those. Oh they are sweet to you until you send money, then they leave you stranded at the airport. The d**n sales team are foriegn grads too. They must have owed them money.

and this is the Email that was sent after we signed the contract with epic flight academy with the GARANTEED PROGRAM

Dear Epic Students & Parents,
As most of you know, we are facing unprecedented economic times with the halt of the credit markets both in the United States and globally. These global impacts, primarily in the credit and financial sector, affect not only large companies, but small corporations like Epic Aviation as well.
Like most companies, we are having to cut expenses, shift out business plans and change the way we operate to facilitate our creditors, customers, and employees to stay in business at this crucial time. This includes Epic Aviations ability to continue to pay for student training overages that have accumulated over the student agreement amounts.
To that end, effective at midnight October 25, 2008, ALL students that have exceeded their tuition agreement amount and are in a negative financial account balance with Epic Aviation will be required to pay for the remainder of their training on their own, based on the current hourly aircraft rates.
Additionally, students that have lived in Epic supplied housing that have exceeded a 7 month term will be required to pay the monthly rent and utilities. Aviation activities will require at least a $500 working balance at all times on account to continue flight training.
Your anticipated cooperation and support of this aviation training facility is greatly appreciated in these difficult financial times.
Best Regards,

President/Chief Executive Officer
Epic Aviation, Inc.
----------------------------------
We were all sold a guaranteed fixed price program that included housing for the duration of our training. After we signed and paid Epic Aviation changed their mind. If they are hurting financially that is not my fault. Would you believe they are still selling the same program.
Come to Ocean Oaks in Port Orange and talk to any of the students.

Factual Correction and Clarification to Indiapilot9535

AUTHOR: Epicflightacademy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 21, 2009

In response to the comments concerning Epic Flight Academy posted I would like to personally offer a balanced view of the false accusations aforementioned:

First, Epic Flight Academy offers premium professional flight training for those students that seek a career in aviation. As a company that was awarded the #1 Cessna Pilot Center in the world last year, a company that recently and routinely meets and exceeds Federal Aviation Administration inspections, and a company that voluntarily adheres to greater stringent regulations as a Cessna Repair Station and Pilot Center than a normal flight school. It appears the occurrence stems from the individuals own lack of compliance with United States Federal & Local Statues, and Federal Aviation Administration regulations due to illegal and/or un-safe acts.

Second, the Epic Flight Academy student graduate record speaks for itself and is factual provable evidence to attest to our commitment to provide the highest quality professional flight training. We have students that fly for major airlines all over the world and are willing to attest to the excellent training they received and how it has affected their career in a positive way.

Third, Epic Flight Academy is and always has had installment plans as an option to assist with paying for training. A student is not required and does not to pay tuition up front. They can spread their tuition out 6 months during their training. Some students come for individual training programs and pay as they go. We do not require money up front in full.

Fourth, our housing is located off campus and in a public apartment complex. There are rules and contractual agreements in the housing lease. By law we are required adhere to the rules and pass them on to our students. The legal age of consumption of alcohol in the United States is 21 years of age. Per the apartment complex contractual policy; smoking inside of the apartment is not permitted. The apartments also have to be cleaned and trash taken out leaving the accommodations in sanitary conditions. I assure you, no one has or will ever be removed from our program for a stain on the rug. Upon arrival at our campus each student is provided, reviews, and signs the policy ensuring their compliance.

If these simple policies, rules, or laws are violated, then certainly a student is facing a disciplinary action up to including removal from the apartments and if the incident is serious enough, possible removal from the academy. Being that the lease is in Epic's name, not the students, Epic is held legally responsible for the apartments and must enforce rules that regardless of if a student feels the rules apply to him/her.

Fifth, in response to having a guaranteed fixed price' program, this program is designed for a student who meets all the FAA Part 141 requirements at minimum and centered around an inclusive package that includes housing and transportation for one price. If a student exceeds the minimum requirements they are subject to being taken off this program and continue on as pay as you go at their own pace and expense. Some reasons why students are taken off the program are: failing multiple stages checks, check ride orals, flights and lessons, due to lack of studying, lack of preparation and unmotivated attitudes. Our students are given many chances to stay on the program. We take pride in giving our customers any and every reasonable attempt to remain in the program, however as some point a line is drawn once they do exceed the course parameters.

As always, we welcome our customer's feedback and seek resolution in every case. We encourage our customers to contact Epic Flight Academy directly at +1 386 409 5583.

Mike Campbell
