I was in urgent need of assistance with loan modification for my family.  EQ saw me as a great target.  I was desperate, I was anxious and willing to do whatever to keep my house.  EQ had an approval process...they said, congratulations, we can help you if you send us $6,000 by Friday. I gave $6,000 I could not afford to give as they promised performance of loan modification or my funds would be returned. Later, when nothing was being done, One of the employees who was let go confided, EQ Group was great at making the sale, but applications lay in a corner.  I am not certain where EQ is as no address is correct.
