Philip Capolongo of Fortius Holdings (used to be Equitex Venture Group) is 100% a Fraud

AUTHOR: Scott - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, September 21, 2020

Philip Capolongo steals bank letter-head images and writes himself letters as if it were the bank. Then he markets those letters to entice investors to invest. Fortius Holdings doesn’t actually do any real business. All deposits coming into his bank accounts are from people he’s defrauding by selling assets he doesn’t own and collateralizing loans with proceeds that don’t exist. Capolongo has been destroying people’s lives for 40 years now. He was convicted of larceny in 1998 and did jail time. The TD Bank fraud letter below was written by Capolongo himself. He's actively robbigng people right throug the Coronavirus.

My name is Scott Smith. I will show you the bank letters that he forges and then markets to investors. Stay far away from Phili Capolongo. Please read story below:

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

The real truth from the people at the company who are not anonymous

AUTHOR: Philip Capolongo - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, October 15, 2009

This is Philip Capolongo and I have not entered onto this site anonymously.

Our firm offices are at 575 Madison Avenue in New York, we have been across the street and here for a total of ten years consecutively. I live in Manhattan.  We DO NOT take fees and dissapear.

Equitex Venture Group whcih was originally our investment banking arm has become an "Angel Fund" as we have funded five (5) companies that are considered early stage since 2005.

We have at no time been contacted by or interviewed by any NY City, NY State or Federal Authority at any time.

Our original engagement contracts called for a fee to cover time, effort, research, preparation and due diligence it was NOT for receipt of equity money.  It was clear and offered arbitration in the case of a dispute.  We have not gone to one arbitration.

We have three active equity funds.  You are welcomed to visit us and review anything.

In cases where we felt it was warranted fees or parts of fees were returned as per engagement terms.  In several cases when we found fraudulent representations as in the case of a stem cell company that we found defrauded about ten other investors, we retained the fee as per our agreement.  All in writing and signed by the client.

We are visible every day and here in New York every single day.  No phone calls have come and these so called "reports" are from a couple of anonymous individuals who cannot get their own companies funded.

Every dollar we put into any company is only after we take the time to review carefully.  If we invested in every thing we saw, we would not be very profitable for our clients.  In turn, when a company wants you to work and strive and prepare for them to get funding sometimes in the millions of dollars and they cannot come up with $15,000.  It is suspect as well.

Our phone number is 2126050235.  We have done everything by the book and we have gone nowhere.

If any anonymous person wishes to call us and legitimately is owed money we will have our legal counsels take care of it.  If all they can do is sling some arrows on the internet, then they are the scam artists.

The development of equity funds and the building of any company is fraught with peril and things do not always go smoothly.  We have stood and took the pain to move forward and we are right here, every day.

We are, and I am front and center.  Call here or keep your comments to yourself, they are not legitimate.

Philip Capolongo
