EsoWorld, Eso World keeps sending "Past Due" Letters, when I've paid everything in full! Fort Erie Ontario

I have been corresponding with Eso World, for a couple of years now...I haven't really had that much problems with them; however, the last 6 months or so, they have sent me correspondence claiming certain events that are going to happen in my life and that they can protect me...you see, I've had much bad luck in my life and I guess I was grasping onto anything to help me look into the positive light. The "trouble" started about 6 months ago, when they said they would send me the winning numbers for the lottery...it cost me $24.00...I paid it, with no question; it's now approx. 6 months later, and I haven't seen the numbers or any other correspondence from that particular inidividual at Eso World...

Then, I received correspondence from another individual at Eso World claiming other things about my future...I guess I was down in the dumps and once again, wanted to reach for happiness....I paid the invoice of $24.72 in November 2008...but they keep sending me 'past due notices', threatening that they will be sending my information to a collection agency...I have paid the invoice...I have since written them a letter outlining the details and really hope to stop these letters.

I really didn't want to believe that I was being taken advantage of, but I started surfing the internet to see if I could find a phone number for Eso World so that I could contact them in person and discuss that my cheque had been cashed immediately after the invoice was sent...and to my disbelieve, shock and disappointment, there have been many other complaints about them, similar to my complaint, on this site (Rip off Report).

Why are there people (companies) out there that feel no shame, or remorse for taking advantage of individuals that are having a hard enough time in their life...why do they need to make more troubles for people and make them worried more than what they have on their plate to begin with????

This has really made me open my eyes and really question what I get in the mail...I feel stupid for spending not only my time, postage stamps, but also all my energy and money on a company that is bogis! and is intentionally taking advantage of people in their darkest hours....
