Euro Car Upgrades based in Maroochydore advertised new headlights for my VW.

I purchased only if they organised someone in Sydney to install them and guaranteed their services.  Mr Westwood confirmed my model vehicle had been converted 25 times before thus wouldn't be an issue.  Unfortunately 'after the event' I was informed mine was the first! and yes it caused heaps of problems which created damage to my vehicle.

It turns out the headlights were faulty which the installers didn't know at first (yes, very talented people) thus they were returned only to be sent back and confirmed operational and fitted again.  They were still faulty due to a simple plug not being locked into place back on their factory/home yet I the customer was blamed.  I had pictures taken before and after which they were not aware of and those lights were faulty both times.

Eventually those lights were removed and orginal ones placed back, over all it wasn't a good expereince and their customer service was poor to say the least.  Mr Westwood is a great salesman but thats it, their loyality isn't with their customers just with their hip pocket.  I was out of pocket well over $2000 by the time the lights were returned and they had the gor to charge me 'restocking fees' for a light that was proved to be faulty by 2 installers and VW!

AUTHOR: Euro Car Upgrades - (Australia)

Grant, Please note Euro Car Upgrades solicitor's are looking into your false report and action is going to be taken.

1. headlights were faulty - YOU WERE SUPPLIED A PAIR OF BRAND NEW HEADLIGHTS. Installer did not bolt in your Xenon bulb which resulted in the bulb moving out of a socket. The lights were sent back to us and we did this part of the install for free. Clearly Installer's fault for not checking this correctly and not Euro Car Upgrades

2. created damage to my vehicle - Did Euro Car Upgrades create damage to your vehicle? Euro Car Upgrades never touched your vehicle. It was the installer who is a separate company.

3. those lights were removed and orginal ones placed back,  This is not true - you drive with Xenon lights fitted by Alister - the installer who did the job for you.

4. The lights were never returned.  I was out of pocket well over $2000 by the time the lights were returned and they had the gor to charge me 'restocking fees' for a light that was proved to be faulty by 2 installers and VW!
