Everdry - Gib Heim Pushy salesman for EverDry system spent 3 hours talking gloom and doom about my basement and quoted $26,000.00 and suggested that I put it on a credit card! Troy Michigan

I should have known better. When I received a telephone call from EverDry saying that they had a new lower price and that a salesperson could be in my home in a couple of days. The salesman was pushy, arrogant, and rude. He did everything that one would suspect to prove to me that my home was about to fall in due to an "apparent" structure problem. "Your problem is not water, your problem is fractures in your basement walls".

After 2 hours I asked how long the presentation usually lasted, his response was "..about 1 and a half hours. During his "inspection" he took several poloroid pictures of cracks, rod holes, white powder, base seams, outside cracks, the works (this was the bait). I had the worse cracks he had ever seen! He hammered on the floor and announced that I had a ground water problem below the floor. He poked a hole at a "rod hole" and said that you have a problem waiting to happen.

At three hours and after he suggested that many homeowners pay the $20,000.00 plus bill using a credit card (14 to 22.99 % interest rates!)and that he worked with companies that honored 12 months to pay as the same a "cash"...I asked him what planet he came from. I was appalled at his "matter of fact", casual offer. This is how so many middle to low income individual move from having a "water" problem to a "I lost my home problem"! At that point I had had enough of his "rip off artist" style, his rude demeanor and otherwise unprofessional manner.

True to his style, he attempted to make me into "the problem" and said that "he had had enough of me!? I remember his saying "are you this way with everyone?" No, only those people who clearly are trying to take advantage of me. Good riddance! EverDry? No, "Forever no EverDry work for me!"
