My credit card was recently billed for $9.95. The company is EWS-Design. There was a phone number included on the statemen: (512) 685-2373. I have no idea who these folks are. I called the number and listened to a generic message on an answering machine.

I chose not to leave my number. I am completely dismayed that these folks were able to get a hold of my credit card number and then had the audacity to try to rip me off.

My credit card company agreed to credit my account for the $9.95 but I'm still concerned that these creeps still have my card number.

The charge that appeared on my credit card was dated 4/2/04.
