Mem is headquartered at 5550 lbj frwy, #360, dallas, tx 75240. Tel: 972-996-0900, fax: 972-996-0905. Website: (www.mensedgemedical.com)*. They have recently opened offices in (kansas city, ks, 5401 college blvd suite 203, leawood, ks 66211, tel: (913) 553-461 and (las vegas, nv, _ 6380 west flamingo road suite a, las vegas, nv 89103, phone: (702) 331-7077, and likely looking to expand to other states.

The truth is that i have knowledge of fraud, deception and harm to humans that i believe is wrong, illegal and unecessary, and that it is my moral and legal obligation to do what i can to warn the public of the improprities. The following are my opinions and are based on facts, my observations and experience, from a front row seat through 2012; i am sure it did not stop then. I believe the state of texas sybiotic relationship lies with protecting the perpetrators in the interest of fees, taxes, and jobs. So, dont expect the state or anyone else to voluntarily protect you. You need to be proactive and express yourself openly (see urls- web addresses below).

Mem is rife with morale and moral hazard from the top down. They are willingly and intentionally violating public policy, endangering public safety and flagarantly disregarding the law and common decency. I have witnessed operational standards that i would expect to see in a bowling alley in juarez, but never in a north dallas retail clinic, parading as a medical office. Of all the policies that employees are required To acknowledge, they are only to protect the owners financial interest. There are none about protecting customer safety. Customers have been hurt, and a few have gone to the hospital. Yet, they have a policy not to call an ambulance, but rather take customers to the hospital in an employee car, another hazard in itself.

Mem is owned by charlotte burns (charlotte.burns@att.net). She also has a j.d., which makes her less than customer friendly, and is reason enough to use mems comppetition, (dallas male medical clinic, clinichttp://www.nationalmalemedicalclinics.com/dallas, 4125 fairway drive suite 190, carrollton, tx 75010)*, if you think you need to play with this fire; then get the initial test for free. The office manager is raul garza, a trusted member of the gang , who helps to develop the secrets to success to sell to investors (what i refer to as deception and fraud). Beware investors!

Some areas of obvious concern:

There is a flagrant disregard for the law, violations of public policy and the endangerment of public safety. There is pattern of deception & fraud against the public, employees, vendors and regulators. It is as if everyone is a potential victim.

The rapidity with which treatments ( haha) change with experience (much if not most of which is negative), and the adaption thereof, gives me the impression that this is one big dangerous human experiment.

Mems website claims to have 10,000 customers. 6000 never existed and never will. Out of the other 4000, 50% did not buy anything and never will. Out of the remaining 2000, 90% will never come back, even to get medications they paid for.

Mem is engaged in false advertising and deceptive business practices, also verifiable at the bbbs site: (http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/health-and-medical-general/mens-edge-medical-center-in-dallas-tx-90115064)*. During the first year-and-a-half that garza was manager, mems bbb rating dropped from c to f. They use false testimonials. I was told that the owner wanted me to concoct a false testimonial, which i did and which they used. Recently, they have been using a testimonial insinuating that they are treating high blood pressure; i never knew them to treat hbp.

They are using uncertifeid and unlicensed employees to mix medications, draw blood and give injections without a doctor present.

They are illegally promoting hcg as an fda approved product for weight loss. Click on the following link to the texas attorney general website: (https://www.oag.state.tx.us/oagnews/release.php?id=3883) & (http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/consumer&id=8408455)*.

When people call in from the deceptive ads and ask what the cure for erectiledysfunction is, they are told that the center has all of the fda approved solutions and the customer needs a medical exam to find out the appropriate solution. The reality is that everyone of them will qualify for injections and will not be told until the doctor steps into the room with the assistant who is hiding the injector while the customer is being told to lie back and put and rest his head on the pi low. If the customer is not pro-active at that point, he is going to get the injection.

The risks are being under-stated and the benefits are being over-stated. The customers are not being told informed about the risks. Many have resulting pain and discomfort, sometimes resulting in additional painful procedures and sometime injury requiring hospitalization. After the test dose, a sales person, dressed in scrubs comes in and customers are told the doctor wants them to use the medication 2x/ week, which is patently false., and the transaction is completed before the customer realizes the full effect. I am not aware of anyone who is willing to inject their p***s 2x per week for more than a week. If they did, their p***s would likely turn into scar-tissue; if you are familiar with needle tracks. Most people that by 100 injections, take ten home to test again and never come back for the rest. Since the informed consent form completed at the begging of the first visit has a clause that all sales are final, it is very difficult to get a refund. The sales receipt also claims that it is against federal law to refund on medications; i doubt if that applies to medications that have not been mixed by the center yet. That brings up another point- customers will also be told that their medications have been custom mixed if they push for a refund.

Another thing that the salesman will tell the customer is that men lose testosterone and that the doctor (frequently false) wants them to get a blood test, currently $250. The customer is not most often then told about the cost of treatments of $100-200 per month. Nor, are they told about the $250 test every 8 weeks to determine they are part of the group that turns this testosterone into estrogen and then there will be other needed medications that run $300+ per month. What next? As far as i know the human experimenters have not figured that out yet.

After making sales, certain reps, the manager and the owner run up and down the halls giving each other high-fives and knuckle crunches (you know, the 3w routine).

There are no written standards for hygiene. At one time the people that are mixing medicines and filling syringes, which legally should be certified pharmacy techs but in reality is just about anybody, were using sterile pads to clean the bottle tops, with no hand cleansing and before dropping the sterile pad onto the heavy-traffic counters. But, that step was lostby the person that illegally promotes himself as a pharmacy tech (pt) and has been unable to pass the test (the other one in the highly-trusted inner circle), and adopted by everyone else up the chain of command. If, and when, the sterile pads were used as above, it would then be passed off to the person assisting the doctor, who then hands it to the doctor, who then parades down the hall where it is eventually used to cleanse the customers p***s for the injection. The same person mentioned above once dropped a sterile pad on the floor and suggested that is was usable for the above process. I witnessed the same person throw medications on the counter and files before packaging them for customers; the reason, he was mad because the customer did not buy enough or that he had to package the medication.

This group is hiding behind the trust & dignity which we place in our doctors, the white coat doctrine.

They are prentending to be in the cosmetice business to extend credit through care credit.

In every fault, there are too many cracks to count. This gang is deceiving everyone, including state agencies without peril. I do not know about the rest of humanity, but i find this to be disgusting. We can lead the third-world up or they can drag us down. If this is what you want from medicine, then find and tell your federal& state representatives, newspapers, tv stations, and bbbs. If you want better, tell the same people, but more importantly warn your family, friends, and neighbors. Unfortunately, this is not a subject that users openly discuss, which allows the evil doers among us to prey on the ones we care about. Forward this to everyone you know, male and female.

Be peroactive against this method of business and medicine in the u.s. find and contact your state representatives: http://www.fyi.legis.state.tx.us/, http://www.house.state.tx.us/members/find-your-representative). Complaints to the texas medical board: http://www.tmb.state.tx.us/consumers/disciplinaryprocess.php, license@tsbp.state.tx.us The texas attorney general complaint form: https://www.oag.state.tx.us/forms/cpd/form.php.

If they will lie, cheat and steal from employees, customers, vendors and the government, who will they not lie, chaeat and steal from? . In fact, thestate has chosen to defend these perpetrators at great expense to the texas tax payors.

Update: Guilty of Wrong Doing

AUTHOR: Justice in America - ()

POSTED: Monday, May 12, 2014

Dec. 6th, 2013:  The Texas Medical Board (TMB) finds Men’s Edge Medical Center (MEM) guilty of wrong doing.  Dr. Crider enters Remedial Plan agreement (reg.tmb.state.tx.us/OnLineVerif/Phys_ReportVerif_new.asp), (Document- public.tmb.state.tx.us/WebDocuments/StreamView.aspx).

Action Date:  12/06/2013

Description:  ON DECEMBER 6, 2013, THE BOARD AND JULIUS PAUL CRIDER, M.D., ENTERED INTO A NON-DISCIPLINARY REMEDIAL PLAN THAT REQUIRES DR. CRIDER WITHIN ONE YEAR COMPLETE THE MEDICAL JURISPRUDENCE EXAM WITHIN THREE ATTEMPTS, AND, WITHIN 60 DAYS, PAY AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF $500 PER YEAR. THE BOARD FOUND DR. CRIDER MIXED DOSES OF INJECTABLE SOLUTIONS IN HIS OFFICE FOR INITIAL TESTING OF PATIENTS. THE PATIENTS PAID DR. CRIDER DIRECTLY FOR THE COST OF THE MEDICATION THAT WAS DISPENSED BY DR. CRIDER. DR. CRIDER DOES NOT ADMIT OR DENY THE FINDINGS BUT AGREED TO THE REMEDIAL PLAN TO AVOID THE COST AND UNCERTAINTY OF LITIGATION.

This unequivocally shows that MEM is guilty of wrong doing.  However, the law holds the doctor, whose license is being used for operations, accountable.    In this case, the evil sources behind the crimes are the doctor owner, doctor expansion partners and the office manager, none of which have been held accountable.   The TMB was provided details, including names and dates, of many occurrences of wrong doing, and easily provable.  This limited and questionable remedial plan shows the incompetence of the TMB and that Texas continues to be the “Ripoff Capital of the World”, and is not actively protecting the health, welfare and safety of the citizens it was created to protect.

Unfortunately, the remedial plan that gives the impression of consequences well into the future was terminated: Action Date:  02/06/2014 Description:  ON FEBRUARY 6, 2014, REMEDIAL PLAN TERMINATED DUE TO COMPLETION OF ALL REQUIREMENTS.  This shows that the indiscernible remedial plan is just a smoking mirror and another example of how Texas’ agencies are more interested in protecting businesses, in this case doctors, rather than the public.  This is appalling and unacceptable in a civilized society!

Update

AUTHOR: Justice in America - ()

POSTED: Saturday, November 16, 2013

Here are more facts since the initial report:

On Tuesday, March 26th, 2013, The BBB of Dallas issued a consumer alert regarding Men’s Edge Medical Center of Dallas (bbb.org/blog/2013/03/ed-treatment-alternatives-can-carry-a-high-price/, http://www.dallas.bbb.org/article/Mens-Edge-Medical-Centers-Practices-Raise-Concerns-40951), which was immediately published by newspapers around the DFW metroplex.  On Wednesday, March 27th, 2013, WFAA Channel 8 news featured the alert on the 6p.m. evening news.  Jason Wheeler is WFAA’s lead Consumer Investigative Reporter (wfaa.com/on-tv/bios/184017161.html).    Another staple of Men’s Edge Medical’s pattern of dubious offerings is testosterone therapy, of which dangers were featured on CBS This Morning on Wednesday, Nov. 6th, 2013,: cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50158598n.

This report is about life & death, good & bad, right & wrong, public health & safety, and accountability within our healthcare system.  This is not intended to cast negative dispersions on legitimate medical providers within the ED treatment industry who follow all laws all of the time, and who ethically treat the few individuals who can honestly benefit from such current state-of-the-art treatments, such as Boston Medical Clinic: dallas.bostonmedicalgroup.com/.   One must keep in mind that serious injury or death may result from rogue medical facilities that are not properly supervised by regulators, such as the recent multi-state outbreak of Fungal Meningitis and other infections: usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/09/17/fungal-meningitis-outbreak-anniversary/2824263/.

rebuttal

AUTHOR: Men''s Edge - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, April 17, 2013

Do not be fooled by the post by Justice in America about Mens Edge Medical Center. The truth is that the writer of that post is a disgruntled former employee who was terminated for being intoxicated on the job. The action to discharge this employee was upheld by the Texas Workforce Commission after a hearing. Since then this employee has been on a campaign of lies and defamation in an effort to seek revenge against Mens Edge Medical Center.

The report is full of bombast and hyperbole, and is unsupported by any facts. Although the writer claims to have knowledge of improper conduct, he provides absolutely no facts supporting any such allegation. Nor can he, because there are none. The writer is spewing his lies solely because he was fired for cause. Dont be fooled by
him.

Mens Edge Medical Center has been in practice for many years and continues to provide quality fully licensed medical care to our patients who continue to return for treatment. Mens Edge Medical Center is a fully licensed medical clinic subject to all appropriate regulations and laws. All medications are prescribed by fully licensed physicians.
