American Countertops is ILLEGALLY operating and collecting money according to the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC). They are Licensed as Express Countertops but doing business as American Countertops which is Illegal.
They don't use a proper Contract, do not disclose their info on their vehicles or do good work. They have NO: quality control, office etiquette, qualified Fabricators, qualified Installers or Honest Management. We hired them to fabricate and install two simple Quartz Countertops and both were cut wrong and crooked.
During the installation, they damaged the door on our Brand New Kitchen Aid Refrigerator and when approached, they not only denied responsibility, they blamed everything wrong on us. They are dishonest and misleading.
Collecting money using a different name is a Criminal Act according to the MHIC. AVOID these Scammers. You have been warned.
