Expressway Dodge do not stand behind warranties Ripoff Evansville Indiana

We purchased a used 1998 Chevy Blazer from Expressway Dodge in 2000 and they recommended that we buy an "extended warranty". We did purchase the warranty and when the 4-wheel drive went out shortly afterwards, we were told that the warranty we purchased was "a bad warranty" and they no longer sold "that" warranty, so our Blazer was not covered. This cost us almost $1,000 to get the 4-wheel drive fixed.

We also purchased a brand new 2001 Dodge Ram Truck from them in December 2000. Not long after we bought the truck, we took it to the dealer conplaining of a shifting problem and noise. We were told there was nothing wrong. We complained 2 additional times with the same result. Now with less than 60,000 miles on the truck, the transmission has gone out. We were now told that our truck is not covered under the 7-year or 70,000 mile warranty because we bought it a week before that warranty started on 2001 trucks. It has now cost us $2,200 to fix the transmission on our truck. Three times dumb, we bought another used 1999 Dodge Dakota from them last Fall.
