My daughter was pulled in by this bogus modeling and talent agency a few years ago. Last night I checked out their website to see if they were still in business and I saw so many more people signed up that I felt I really needed to say something. They prey especially on younger people who are looking to make it in the modeling business. They call you repeatedly to get you to come in and meet with them. When you do they begin telling you how you have to have photos taken, which is common in modeling. However they, by they I mean Susan Lunetta, strongly suggests that you use their photographer. Of course you end up using her photographer because you are new to the industry and you feel as though you should be able to trust them if they are going to represent you. The photographer, while not awful, is a portrait photographer and the quality of the photos and poses leaves a lot to be desired. The mua that they hire uses way too much make-up and is rushed because they are photographing at least 15 girls at a time. You pay $500 for this and then have to wait forever to get comp cards. They also hit you up for a fee of $10 per month for the website and although you start paying immediately, it took almost an entire year to be put on the site in the correct category. For an entire 2 years (contract length) there was 1 casting in New York City (where they have another so called office). When my daughter walked in they looked at her like she was from another planet. The only other almost job came when they said she was hired for a photoshoot but at the last minute the photographer got the swine flu and couldn't do it that weekend and had to reschedule; which of course never happened. My daughter!is now represented by a real agency and is very successful. I only wish that she hadn't wasted her time and money with this sham of an agency. I hope that before people are sucked into their "eat no pork" seminar (ridiculous) they check them out and then run for the door!
