Fairfield ,Wyndham Resorts Fairfield Resorts Ripped Us OFF! Orlando Florida
*Consumer Suggestion: Book in Advance
They talked us into signing up for the points-based timeshare, but we are unable to make any reservations anywhere. We have 8 children and they convinced us that it was a much better way to travel, but it is entirely the opposite because we can't go anywhere that has room for all of us at once!
We cannot even view the reservation link online, it has been disabled for months. We are completely frustrated and devestated. We spend our very hard earned money on something we thought would be a great investment for the family and it's being wasted on making scam artists rich. They need to be stopped and we want our money back!

My wife and I have been w/Fairfield (now Wyndham) since 2005. Some resorts do not have 3 and 4 bedroom rooms, however, you can book multiple rooms. I know this because we did this recently for a trip we are making to Atlantic City next month.
We booked 2 - two bedroom rooms. On top of that, we were able to set it up where we wouldn't have to move (we had to make two seperate reservations over 3 days because of logistics on their end).
My question is - what resorts are looking at and how far out are you trying to book? The thing w/travel anywhere and staying somewhere is to book far out. Some places heat up certain times of the year. For example, I know Mytrle Beach is one of the hardest ones to get. I know Orlando is hard to get certain parts of the year (we got one in 2006 3 months in advance). Have you many that many attempts, or are you basing this one experience?
To top it all off, our honeymoon was in Kona, Hawaii in April 2007. We booked the earliest we could, 10 months out, June 2006. We got one of the best rooms in the entire resort because we expressed our reasoning for going there, got two specific rooms to ask for, called a week out to see if we could get one of them, and we did.
