When has competition and breaking the law gone too far? Based on a UTi Transport Agent Tyler Sheff, it should go as far as bodily threats and physical harm.

Tyler Sheff, who has been reported online for bait and switching, seems to feel directing his anger on these actions at other companies/people. To the point where in desperation he threatens to break legs and hunt people down. Not very professional if you ask me..

Is this the model employee that UTi Transport Solutions allows? By their corporate counsel Dennis Heil (General Counsel / VP Legal UTi Transport Solutions Inc. - a UTi Worldwide Company), yes and he has allowed it to continue.

I was told that since their company representative is an independent agent, they have no control over them. If that is the case, then it would seem that UTi has a bigger problem than rogue agents.

Where does the liability fall? Who can be liable? Does it seem UTi Worldwide allows their agents to break the laws, even when they are opening themselves to litigation by allowing and condoning illegal activity from their agents.

Logged IP addresses showing a trail of lies and threats of physical harm have been presented to Dennis Heil of UTi and his answer? Do nothing say it is not UTi's issue. Even though all agents who access UTi via computer need a static IP address, he still denies this illegal activity happened.

There have been several reports about Tyler Sheff and his shady" practices to getting legal brokers kicked off a website so he can run his dubious practices of bait and switch.

He has also been known to purchase domain names in forms of competitor's business names as well as personal names and create slanderous blogs and pages about those people.

He has also emailed and called companies as a UTi Transport Solutions representative and lied about employees
and their actions to try to get them fired from that business. UTi's response, nothing that we have seen.

Who does this really hurt? Tyler Sheff, a UTi Worldwide agent seems to think only his competitors. UTi legal counsel Dennis Heil seems to think it is not a UTi Worldwide company issue.

Tyler Sheff in his own words states It is unfortunate that a competitor chooses to use slander as a tool to increase his business. we pity them for feeling the need to resort

to such childish antics". It seems that Tyler Sheff; FairPricedshipping/UTi Worldwide agent cannot take his own sagacious advice.

Per Dennis Heils' statement about this legitimate threat of violence from a UTi Worldwide agent: high school kids sniping at each other". Does this mean that in his high school days, he faced physical threats and violence that seems commonplace and acceptable? Was breaking someone's legs a typical school day? What a rough neighborhood he grew up in.

Authorities in multiple states have been notified that UTI Worldwide agent Tyler Sheff o Fairpricedshipping.com is the IP address owner, which was not denied my UTi. He should be held accountable for his crimes and I am sure they are working diligently to put together the pieces to make sure this type of dishonest work and more importantly, threats to do bodily harm are documented and that he be held responsible. Hopefully UTi Transport (UTi Worldwide) will take the same action and eliminate their exposure to legal proceedings do to a rogue" UTi agent and realize that physical violence is not how most companies succeed. I have heard of Guerrilla Marketing but this is far beyond the normal scope of doing business.

So far UTi Worldwide's reaction Obviously if you can track his IP address you have the means to block him from your site easily enough". Yea, that's what we will do, that will stop Tyler Sheff from following through on bodily harm and I can see that IP block working on my home or office front door or better yet, my 6 year old daughters' school. Thanks for your actions Dennis Heil, I feel so protected now.

I hope Eric W. Kirchner UTi worldwide's new CEO does not make company decisions based on this sage advice from UTi's lackluster crack legal team.

1) As stated in our original rebuttal, we pity Shannon of Freight88.com for his continued cowardly attempts to slander our company. It is unfortunate that he continues to banter on about the same lame topics over and over again.

To our new and current customers, thank you again for another record month. We appreciate your continued loyalty and apologize for the childish rantings of Mr Shannon from Freight88.com.

2) Shannon, one more time we will say again, we make no argument that we operate a home based business, the fact is that our home based office allows us to keep our overhead low, which allows us to provide lower costs to our customers. What about this don't you understand? More importantly, who cares if we operate out of our home, our customers don't so why should you? Thank you for posting a photograph of our house on your website www.freight88.com, next time how about a little notice so I could make sure the truck was washed prior to any photo taking. Also if your going to stalk us and take our picture, please be sure we can at least be outside to pose for the photo. I would post a photo of your house on my website, but you see our customers don't really care to see your house (or mine). Oh, and we work in shorts and no shoes, (socks in the winter) and in the summer time we take a swim in the pool during lunch. Sometimes we go fishing during lunch if the tides are cooperating.

3)We have never applied for an account with your company, that would be silly, we have LTL pricing directly with the carriers themselves via UTi, why would we need you?

4) Shannon, you have played this bait and switch claim to death, people are tired of reading about it. This false claim of yours was addressed in our previous post. Read it again, maybe it will sink in after a second read.

5) We addressed your accusation regarding name change in a previous post you made against us within this website. But one more time for you to understand it (hopefully this time), we have not registered on uShip as Marketratequote, instead it was Market Transport...you see, when large companies are purchased by larger ones, it is common for the company being bought to change names to the new company that purchased them. If it helps, the company began as R and R Truck brokers back in 1977, then became InTransit which was acquired by Market Industries then purchased by UTi hence the name change.

6) We are sure you will next post about how we are linked to international terrorism or are planning to rob a bank or something...instead we just keep servicing the needs of our customers. Honestly, don't you think all of this is a bit much? Maybe you should focus on building your business in an honorable fashion, instead of trying to discredit those who you obviously must secretly admire as your hero. Why else would you keep ranting and raving about nonsense? Do you honestly think that all this negative rhetoric actually helps you obtain business? if you do, I have a few books I could mail you that may educate you otherwise. But, since you refuse to list a physical address of where you are located, I guess UPS won't be able to find you to make the delivery.

Freight88.com is not affiliated with EnginesDirect but knowing the great work and honest bids that we have seen on the scammer site uship.com, they are the choice we suggest people use, not fairpricedshipping who lies about them being publicly traded on the NYSE. If they have created such slanderous lies about EnginesDirect and Freight88.com in some weird attempt to make themselves look better or bigger than some home-based garage business, I suggest that people take this obvious lunatic's rantings and foot stomping as a temper tantrum.

If you do a search online you will see that the listed business address for "fairpricedshipping" is 701 Charlotte Ave, Tarpon Springs, FL and it is a residence. It was also recently noticed that Tyler Sheff stole a Freight88.com carrier logo and placed it on his website.

Freight88.com is not Carolina Logistics, Freight88 has hundreds of 3pl's and freight forwarders enrolled and using our online rate engine and Carolina Logistics is one of those businesses. Fairpricedshipping was denied an account and I feel this is a childish rebuttal on Ms Sheff's part to divert the actual claim against his bait and switching.

If he is such an upstanding business why has he changed his name repeatedly on uship? He was listed as UTiTransPortSolutions / MarketRateQUote and now fairpricedshipping and parcelsforward.

Freight88 will not be dragged down to Tyler Sheff's level of slander, lies and just plain crazy banter....

Mr Steede operates under the name of CarolinaLogistics on site in order to mask his true identity. Mr Schultz operates under the name EngineShipping.

We have no problem with Mr Schultz or his partner Shannon Steede, instead we pity them for feeling the need to resort to such childish antics.

It seems they are troubled because when we bid, we offer the customer additional savings by offering to ship from terminal to terminal or commercial location to commercial location. We don't assume that the customer knows that it costs more to ship to or from a residence, instead we educate them on how to save on shipping and prove it with our pricing.

In the event the customer cannot relocate the shipment to take advantage of additional savings, we provide them residential pickup and delivery as a last resort option for an additional fee that is clearly disclosed in our bid (not hidden, actually surrounded by asterisks and in capital letters to make it obvious).
