Family dollar (lucas street florence SC 29506) Store not treating employees right and do not allow workers to get a break at all Florence South Carolina

Hello my name is Dewayne a former Assistant manager of Family Dollar located on 233 lucas street Florence SC 29501.

During my time working there I have witnessed so much propaganda and unfair treatment to employees by the Store manager John Salmon.I asked him one day why do we not let associates get a break within the store at least a 15 and he said we were too busy of a store to give breaks.Occording to the law anyone working more than six hours must take a 30 minutes break.I have seen assciates get drained and then they are required to do extra on the floor or they will get written up.I do not think it is right that this store takes advantage of workers like this because it is not there fault the store is high volume they just di there job to the best of there ability at least you would think he could appreciate them by giving at least a 15.This guy thinks by firing people his problem will Vanish but to honest it will get worst because he just dont show that he care about assciates at all.I am tired of seeing this type of injust happening on Jobs where these so called managers use these good people and throw them under the bus just to save there hide.This problem is happening now as we speak and I dont think it will ever end.I know a few associates who worked 10 hours shifts without one break.
If this is not a violation of law I do not know what is.
