Famous Poets Society lie! Cheat! Rip-off! oregon

I went online with some poetry that I had worked extremely hard on, hoping to enter it in a contest to see if it was good. When i saw famous poets society website, i thought, this is great, maybe i can get my poem published in a book and win money. So I entered my work and a few weeks later, they sent me some stuff in the mail saying that i was a semi finalists and that even if i didn't win the money i would have my poem published in their book "great poems of the western world." they made it sound really good, like this was a great honor, and me being a teenager thought this was great, like this is my calling.

So I showed it to my dad and he was happy but skeptical. he told me to go back online and try to find out more, that was when i ran across this website and when i saw famous poets society on one of the lists, it broke me. this time, they had changed some stuff up, like the name in particular. The poetry editor is said to be lavender aurora, which when i first read it thought it to be an odd name, and now i know why it was odd, because it doesnt't exsist.

please donn't be one of the victims of these cruel peoples idea of a joke, it took me a while myself to accept that they weren't real, and i hope that my story helps you to get out of their game before it is too late, and whatever you do, don not send them any money because i truly doubt that you will get some back.
