I must share with you how disappointed I am with the finished product your firm delivered me. The first issue is that every panel screen is 6 inches short of the dimension I provided you and requested. Four of those inches are used in lapping two panels. I have attached a image illustrating this problem.

Secondly, there was no discussion or indication in the purchase order that your firm would be seeming 2 independent prefabricated mesh panels to create one. This overlap is unattractive and accounts for more than 4 inches lost on the bottom. It looks like two panels stitched together. The mesh panels that your group advertise in your catalog and web site do not have this seam through the center of the panels.

Both of these conditions make the product look cheap and amateurishly produced. I believe I have been deceived with a product bait and switch. I fully expect that your firm will rectify these issues amicable. Please advise.

Good Morning Patrick,

The center binding strip that is installed on the material reduces billowing from wind by allowing additional attachment points to the fence. This is done on material that is typically taller than our 6’ (5’ 8”). With your panels being 7’ (6’ 8”) in height it received the additional reinforcements. In regards to the height of losing 4”, this is standard on all screens unless otherwise stated when receiving dimensions.

All screens are cut 4” shorter as specified online and within each quote created to ensure a proper, clean and wrinkle-free fit. If the panels are incorrectly sized, please take a few photos with a tape measure along the length or height that is in question. Once I receive those photos I will be able to better assist the situation. Thank you!

Blake,

Thank you for your response, albeit your response is inconsistent with your advertised photos and inconsistent with the gate panels you shipped. The gate screens are even taller then the fence panels, see attached photo.

Secondly if there is any truth to what you are saying, that detail should have been fully disclosed before I purchased your system. This has a huge impact on the appearance of the finished product and frankly I would not have purchased your product if I was aware of this alleged feature. My clients are very dissatisfied with your finished product.

I am aware of your 4 " clearance condition. The photo  images I sent you show 6"-  7" difference at the bottom, not 4 inches. The extra 2 inches matches the size of the seam lap.

It is my opinion that you took some old inventory and stitched them together. There is no need to place grommets through the middle seam if they can not used for fastening. If that was the case, you have left grommets out on nearly half of the screen panels middle seams. 

I might also point out that you took complete payment in advance for this product, which places your firm under a much different contract disclosure obligation.

By the tone of your message, it appears you do not care about the 100% customer satisfaction you promote on your web site. If you continue to attempt to unjustly explain away your products poor appearance, I will have no other solution but to seek a non amicable solution to the problem you have caused me. Interstate commerce bait and switch is a serious issue.

I will be compelled to not only seek a legal remedy to your breach but intend to share my story through a website to warn other unsuspecting consumers of your business practices. I find no pleasure in spending more of my time and money in being a consumer watch dog, but your initial response to my complete dissatisfaction is unacceptable.

Please advice.

My name is Josh Alexander and I am the Production Manager here at FenceScreen. The images you sent show measurements from the center-binding strip down to the bottom which was not attached. Please send photos of the material fully stretched out with a tape measurer next to the panels. If off by 6”-7” we will remedy the situation immediately.

We do not ship material over the 5’-8” in the professional series screens without a center-binding strip as it is needed to prevent tearing under heavy winds. It is not two scrap panels put together as all orders are fabricated from new, raw material.

If the order is the correct size once stretched, we will not issue an RMA for a return. Your order was custom-sized, installed and shows no manufacturer defects which voids any return option as indicated in our policy. Please see the link below for any clarification.

 Gentlemen,

You are wasting my time by talking in circles. For instance;

Josh just wrote;

a) The pictures I sent you of the gates are 13 ft  x 8 ft. You already know this by inspection of your cut sheets.

b) You are not addressing the bait and switch. None of your online photos show seaming 2 separate panels together to make 1 panel.

c) Your purchase order does not state that you will receive an unsightly looking panel if the height is over 5'- 8".

d) You took payment in full for an purchase that was made in good faith with a promise of 100% satisfaction. 

2) There are a total of 23 fence screen panels that I purchased from your firm. The pictures I I provided you of the miss cut screen panels represents a common condition of in the majority of the total panels. I also sent you the images of the panels in a stretched out and fastened state. Please inspect these images.

 So what you are saying is that I need to send you a photo of each panel that is miss cut? 

If I go through this exercise of futility, how do you intend on rectifying this problem? Please describe your intentions in complete detail?
