I received a call from a number 062-295-8017 the gentleman identified himself several times as being from Visa Mastercard "the" company. I asked him how I could be sure that he was genuine. He cited the Consumer Protection Act and told me he could lower the rates on my credit cards to 4.9%. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he told me he was "the supervisor" of the whole floor.

When I aked how much it would cost me he told me "nothing" He wanted a lot of personal information which I stupidly gave him. 30 minutes into the call and after hearing some more things that made me suspicious, he transfered me to his supervisor--"the closer" who identified himself as Jordan with Financial Protection Centers. We discussed the representation made by the other "supervisor" and he said that was wrong and when I asked about cost again--he said I should have been told "there was no out of pocket" expense but there was an application fee of $900. At that point he said he was going to send me to his supervisor. I was on hold and then the call went to a fast busy sound and I hung up. They should be stopped from representing themselves to be Visa or Mastercard
