First Capital Consumers Group AKA First Capital Coin Telephone ripoff deceptive company screwed others too Toronto Ontario

I have filed a previous report, but couldn't get access to update it. We all know the story, First Capital contacted me on 6/11 promising a Visa and Mastercard each with $2500 limits. Then I gave them bank account info to draft the $199.00 one time fee.

Well, after doing the above, I felt uneasy and got online to see if they had a website. I located no website but did get taken to this website where all these diverse complaints were filed against FCCG. I immediately contacted my bank on 6/12 and put a stop payment on the $199.00. I then called the supposed rep for FCCG, Nancy Newman, at the number she gave me....416-488-4534. You may want to try this one, I always get an answer after 10:00 CST. I told her who I was and what I had found out and told her to cancel my acceptance of their offer. Having also told her that I had already spoken to my bank and initiated a stop payment, she said she would cancel it. Well lo and behold on 6/18 the $199.00 was drafted out of my bank under the name of First Capital Coin Telephone. This also shows the incompitence of my bank.

I have posted a complaint on the website www.ftc.gov. Under their "current news" selection they have a court file entitled "fraudulent Canadian telemarketing targeted". This sounds just like the operation of First Capital. Don't know if the individual running it is one in the same or not. Please go and post a complaint on this website and maybe if enough get posted, someone will decide to do something about these malicious and fraudulent companies.
