#11 THE FORECLOSURE-RESCUE CONSULTANT IS PROHIBITED BY LAW FROM ACCEPTING ANY MONEY, PROPERTY, OR OTHER FORM OF PAYMENT FROM YOU UNTIL ALL PROMISED SERVICES ARE COMPLETE.

The above statement is taken directly from the IMAC agreement form for service and assistance of providing a Loan Modification. So then how does IMAC get around this law? By escrowing the monies from it's prey and then transfered to God knows what accounts.

But wait! The monies are transfered prior to completion of what they promise to offer at least for my wife and I. Yes we were told that we qualified for MHA - Loan Modification - after giving IMAC $1039.00 in April of 2010 things got real shoddy after they got our money. Oh they were so nice, made promises of keeping in contact, but then all of a sudden it seemed as if they fell off a cliff when it came to cumminication and assistance.

We were promised by a staff member (MAL) that she would give us a staus update EVERY WEEK! RIGHT - NOT SO. My wife and I were able to do a better job gathering info from our lender and updates then IMAC performend or I should say deadbeat performance from IMAC. I have every phone call from Imac and lender documented. For several months we were given reasons to keep waiting and never did recieve a so called HAMP package we were promised every 15 days or so - HA HA HA what CROCK!

On one occasion I had called IMACs Staff Ext# the phone was picked up cause you could hear the person talking in the background and others talking and laughing but no response from the phone so I hung up- I called back left a message and YUP never got a call back and sent emails and never got a reply - I knew then I have been HAD!!! -

My wife and I were just told by our Lender as of 10/14/2010 that our investor that has our loan even though Bank of America is the servicer we did not qualify for a MHA assistance (Loan Modification) after calling IMAC to try and get a refund - YUP you guessed it all phones had been disconected and was sent an email saying the doors have been locked...

So the bottom line is we got our precious $1039.00 stollen from us that we could of used so desperatly for a mortgage payment and or even food in our tough times we are facing STOLEN yes taken from us at a time of great need - how LOW can people stoop to this type of behavior? Don't have to answer that cause we learned our lesson from IMAC.

If you have any information for how we can get our money back or what the status is with IMAC or filing a complaint with the attorney general in FL I would appreciate your response very much.
