I received a letter and a check for $2350.00. The letter stated that I had won a lottery, which I had never bought a ticket for.

Then I was supposed to cash the check and call a number.  Someone would contact me and I was supposed to give them $1850.00 for a "processing fee".  There was a number for their Los Angeles office, whhich I called and it was not a working number.

I knew this was a scam, because I had heard of it.  So I did not participate.
