The scenario is just the same as the previous consumers letters. They are reading a script verbatim and the accent on the phone is Jamaican. You receive a call from a gentleman claiming that you are pre-approved for a free government grant for up to $12,500.00 for a one-time processing fee of $29.95 plus $100.00. Please be aware of these people and you can contact them to cancel them @1-800-410-1682. Inform them that you do not have the money in the bank and they will not call you back. Be advised that you will be on hold for about 15 minutes so be patient and make sure they give you a cancellation number.
