FIRST PRIORITY MOVERS MANIPULATED ME with lies, deceit and threats. After signing a contract with an agreed price of $5,004.02 the house was packed and loaded. Then they changed my price to $7,000 but the house was not completely packed as there were items in every room; photos available. My back door was inoperable as they damaged the hinges and my woodwork was damaged on the stairs. They assured me it would all be repaired. I was forced to agree to this new price or they were going to unpack the trucks and I was terribly upset. Jason promised me there would not be any more surprises and this price would not be changed again. I trusted this would be true.

The furniture was placed in storage and a delivery date agreed. After requesting in writing for my furniture to be delivered,   First Priority Movers held my furniture as hostage until I agreed to  pay them an additional  $1,400 by cashiers check upon delivery. It is illegal in Texas to change the price on a contract after it is agreed and signed. My original contract price was $5,004.02 and the actual cost upon delivery was $8,400, a difference of $3,395.

My beautiful furniture and antiques were to be placed in the First Priority Movers air conditioned storage but upon delivery it was evident the furniture had not been in air conditioned space  as my candles were melted and the wood furniture was damaged; photos available. After a successful Brokerage career, this was my FIRST bad moving experience, it is a devastating violation which is a never ending nightmare. My family has assured me this will not be resolved until all my possessions are delivered to me and First Priority Movers files AN INSURANCE CLAIM in my behalf for all my possessions which were damaged, destroyed or missing.

Jacob, and Jason of First Priority Movers portrayed themselves as the good guys, honest, caring, responsible professionals. When I was interviewing companies, I was ill and Jacob represented he recently moved here from Israel, became a partner with Jason in First Priority Movers and was proud to offer his clients exceptional service based on trust and integrity. He was concerned about my move and assured me he would make sure my move went smoothly with little drama or problems. I thought how lucky it was to meet him as First Priority Movers represented they were a large company with offices, in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston, an international mover and credible company who were bonded and insured.

I trusted First Priority Movers with everything I accumulated in my life after much hard work; childrens photos, business records, personal  items, artwork, antiques, etc. After waiting patiently, I requested delivery by email for Sept 5, 2011. The date passed without delivery because I would not agree to their NEW demands for additional cash. The few times I spoke with Jacob, after my contract was signed, he called me names, screamed at me  and treated me, a grandmother in poor health, in a despicable manner. After leaving messages, sending emails and making phone calls; I was pleaded, begged and cried for my delivery to be scheduled as I was inconsolable. Knowing my state of mind,  they stopped communicating.  Finally when my daughter and son-in-law began pressuring for  scheduled delivery, he began to communicate with them and advised the furniture would not be delivered UNLESS  I agreed to pay the driver $1,400 in cash upon arrival.  I was forced to agree to the new contract terms or loose everything, I had no option but to pay.

Jacob agreed to a delivery date of Sept 23, 2011. They arrived at 11 AM, were given the cashiers check before unloading; at 1:30 PM, the driver informed me they were leaving, My contract stated all furniture would be set up and in place but First Priority Movers unloaded and left without setup, leaving me crying and begging for them to unload properly as I had no one to help. I quickly uncovered many items were broken, damaged and/or missing including expensive furniture,  antiques and artwork. I called and emailed, sent letters many times but FIRST PRIORITY MOVERS HAVE REFUSED TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME SINCE DELIVERY. I HAVE PLEADED WITH THEM TO MAKE AN INSURANCE CLAIM FOR MY MISSING AND DAMAGED ITEMS, THEY WILL NOT RESPOND  Many items; furniture, antiques, kitchen items, etc. have not been delivered but they will not file insurance in my behalf or communicate with me. If you have had a bad experience with First Priority Movers, please contact me through Rip Off as I am in communication with the proper authorities who have juridiction over movers.  There are serious consequences for these actions; especially with an interstate move.
