FIXD is supposed to be a diagnostic tool, that reads your vehicle's code, then sends the data back to your smartphone. I purchased mine on May 10, 2017 for $59.00. After waiting 4 weeks, and two emails questioning the delivery. They knocked off $20.00. Finally received on 7/25/2017, amazing... I downloaded their app to my phone. Plugged the unit my truck and started it up. After several attempts accross 3 weeks, the only thing it ever says is, "No Engine Light Detected". Amazon gives 2.5 stars. Save your money, and go borrow the one at AutoZone. I needed to replace a cracked plug, and oxygen sensor.

Great Device - No Rip off

FIXD is an outstanding little device. I purchased it about a year ago. I used it once or twice to confirm problems with my wife’s car and a car a friend was purchasing. However just recently, I purchased a beautiful one owner vehicle. Two days later the engine light came on and it started running wrough, ugh. I plugged in my FIXD unit and it immediately identified to problem: showed the code and what it meant; a misfire in cylinder #5. With the help of YouTube, I was able to replace a spark plug and coil without having to take it to a repair shop. Once fixed, FIXD cleared the engine light and code. This little device saved me hundreds of dollars. FIXD is certainly worth the purchase and is not a ripoff of any kind. I am a happy consumer and I highly recommend FIXD.
