Fleet offerred, by mail, a 0% interest on balance transfers. When the first bill arrived the rate showed 8.74% with a rather hefty finance charge for the balance transfer that I had requested. Calls to their "customer service" were answered with "do you have the paper that proves that it was only a 0% balance transfer? Of course I did not.

I finally got a manager to agree to wave the finance charge on my first months bill, but I am going to have to pay off the balance before next month to avoid the 8.74% finance charge that they insist I agreed to. I wish I would have found this site prior to signing up for their "GREAT" deal.
