I was looking for additional income, something that I could keep my regular job,,,do evenings, weekends, as to save for the kids schooling. I spoke with the sales team in Forest Park GA. They gave me several "current franchees" to see how thy are doing. Brenda, in CA, Lori in GA, Sammual in MA, Saad in OR."Great...all of them", should have been a warning signal. I sent 10k, for my at home franchise, followed all the marketing plans they could give me, NOT WORKING like they promised, David Williams the sales guy said"if this fails for you, you can gert a refund, no problem", exact words. I have left messages, emailes, and faxes,,,no reply back...

There are no elements of truth to any of the accusations of this complaint. Floor Coverings International only grants licenses as a full-time business opportunity. Floor Coverings International retains a complete database of all prospects who request information regarding the franchise opportunity. Floor Coverings International has never provided any information to anyone named Eli in Jenkins,Nebraska. Nor has Floor Coverings International ever had a franchisee, former or current, by that name.
Furthermore, Floor Coverings International does not have any record of any individuals as prospective candidates or former or current franchisees with first names from the alleged areas: Brenda in CA, Lori in GA, Sammual in MA, or Saad in OR. The fact that the complaint fails to provide last names or the cities where these people live reveals that they are fictitious and not verifiable.
The complaint alleges that this individual "sent 10K, for my at home franchise". The franchise investment for Floor Coverings International is $42,900K as stated in the current Uniform Franchise Offering Circular, 3/31/04. The term "at home franchise" has never been used in any of the advertising, marketing, or the Floor Coverings International Uniform Franchise Offering Circular as a descriptive term for this franchise opportunity.
Floor Coverings International believes that this fictitious complaint has been posted by a competitor who is seeking to discredit the reputation of Floor Coverings International.
