I have been using their machines for the Fall semester at Bowie State University in the Christa McAuliffe Residential Community building and most of the washers and dryers don't work. The ones that do work are a hit or miss. The washers and dryers need servicing. This has been an issue since I first moved in in January of 2011. A year has come and gone and the machines are still inoperable. I have reported their machines to the main office of my complex and they insist that the machines are serviced every month which is obviously a lie. Some of the machines don't register the card when it is inserted and you get an error. So your money is deducted from the card but the washer/dryer doesn't start. Some of the dryers don't heat as much as they should so I'm forced to run the machines twice for 1 load. I'm guessing the main office was so tired of the residents complaining about the machines that they posted signs requesting us to call the company directly to request refunds. I have called on many occasions and I have yet to speak with someone or leave a message because the phone rings without any type of

answering machine picking up. I have emailed the company on 12/22/11, 12/30/11, and 1/3/2012 and have yet to hear back from them. I filed a complaint through the BBB & the company insisted that the refund I requested was too large of an amount and I was lying because all the machines on the premises work. On February 5th of this year, I walked around the complex and took pictures of all of the broken machines but the company still insisted I was lying and they would not give me my requested refund or ANY refund for that matter. The last time I requested a refund last year it took me forever and a day to get in touch with them and they informed me that they only gave me a refund out of goodwill. Their website states "FMB Laundry will promptly provide a refund through the mail should any machine fail to operate properly. " That claim is such a lie. Just last week I used a different washer and when I put my card in, it deducted $4.50 from it (each wash is $1.50 by the way) and of course they don't want to refund me that $4.50 either. This company could care less about their customers. I only use their machines because they're the only ones in my complex. I still have about $20 on my card and the leasing office doesn't give refunds for unused funds on the card. All they care about is money. If I have to, I will march down to their main location and once again demand my refund.
