Register counter price approximately over 50% of displayed price. The Store manager, not only refused to address the issue. He refused to identify himself. "Why do you want my name"? After which I was subjected to verbal abuse relating to my being a senior and handicapped. Calling corporate office, I had been assured the matter would be resolved. Most obviously, it has not.

Discount cards

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 02, 2010

Does that store offer discount cards like every other grocer does?

Of course.

Did the price you want require you to have that discount card?

Probably.

And when you did not have it, the manager told you too bad. They give them away to everyone for FREE. You just have to ask for one. Most stores offer them right at the register if you don't show one first.

Wow. That's a titanic amount of detail in your ROR. (sarcasm)

You're telling us that something rang up an incorrect price at the register, and when the manager got involved he just called you "old and handicapped"?

Sounds fishy.

You're probably one of those people that picks fights with retailers just for free or discounted stuff.
