Con artist typical bait and switch, when to their website to buy a camcorder, next day i got an email stating there was a discrepancy with the shipping info and they needed me to call to verify. Next day i called and james at Ext. 2035 to see what was the problem, he said they had a wrong number on file and they needed me to confirm. At that point i became suspicious but i let him talk. then he proceeded to give me this BS about how the cam came with a half hr batt. i knew this was a lie since i had read the specs from the manufacturer website. he insisted i buy this ridiculous extended service and all kind of BS accessories. At that point i knew these people where trying to con me. I told him to cancel the order to which he refused and told me he would charge me 20% restocking fee. Needless to say i called the CC and canceled the card. This individual was very rude and sarcastic.

I do recommend if you are still dealing with them and you have to call them to cancel be ready with a tape recorder and turn the tables on them. mention that bait and switch is illegal and their business practices violate the UCC. Make them threaten you and even use foul language. Make them admit they are trying to get away with illegal practices.

With the tape on hand consult an attorney or turn the tape to the local television station.
