He is still a con artist and a swindler.  He will never change.  He told me he loved me, and borrowed 28,000 from me.  I cannot get in touch with him.  Found out he is engaged to another woman.  How stupid could she be?  It is 2012 and he is still the same criminal he always was.  Do not feel bad for this man.a Leopard never changes his spots.

It is unfortunate that women can created such havoc in a person's life.  While Fred may be no angel and has admitted to making mistakes (haven't we all) he is a kind, gentle person. 

He is a good, reliable, considerate friend and there when you need him.  Many people recognize that he has turned his life around and he has proven to deserve respect and consideration.

It's time for those of you who have an ax to grind to "let it go".  Move on.

Shelby Ewbank and Kathy Prince didn't have suspicious minds when Elvis tribute artist Frederick Denmark said his house had burned.
Ewbank, whose husband also is a tribute artist, and Prince said they helped organize a benefit for Denmark at American Legion Post 138 in September that raised more than $2,000 in cash, as well as clothes and household items.
There was just one problem: There hadn't been a fire, the women said they learned.
Following up on the women's detective work, Tampa police on Thursday charged Denmark, 47, of Fort Lauderdale with felony organized fraud and felony grand theft.
Denmark told police in a report released Monday that he made up the story about the fire for money.
"He said he made a bad decision and wants to pay it back if he can," Detective Curtis Smith said. "He even cried."
Jail records show Denmark, who performs under the name Fred Alberts, is free on $4,000 bail.
An attempt to reach him Monday was unsuccessful.
Ewbank and Prince, meanwhile, now consider a hound dog the man they once called "poor Fred."
"A lot of people are very disgusted," said Ewbank, 33, of Tampa. "We put a lot of time and effort into something we thought was a great thing."
"It's made me sick. It's made me sad," said Prince, 50, of Tampa. "I'm a nurse. I like to think I can help people. Do you know how many people out there really need help that could've benefited from something like that?"
A public records search shows Denmark was on probation or parole in Florida between 1996 and 2000 in Broward County but does not elaborate on the offense.
Public records show a federal tax lien for $12,922 in his name from 2005.
The women said they didn't know Denmark well but had seen him perform. Ewbank met him at an Elvis contest at Channelside in May, and Prince said he was one of the performers that another tribute artist brought to her birthday party in July.
In September, word began to spread among local Elvis impersonators that "Fred lost everything in a fire," Ewbank recalled.
The women and their friends rallied to the cause, drawing eight other tribute artists, including one performing as Johnny Cash, to a benefit. The Tampa Tribune ran an article previewing the event, where Denmark described finding his Fort Lauderdale house in ashes after a gig in Jacksonville.
"Everything you ever had in your lifetime is gone," Denmark said for the article.
After it appeared, Prince said she received an anonymous letter warning her that Denmark was a swindler. She also received an e-mail from a woman who claimed to be Denmark's ex-girlfriend. Police spoke to that woman, identified as Betty Williamson, and noted in the report that Williamson said Denmark had charged $25,000 worth of purchases on her credit card.
Reached by phone, Williamson said that amount was incorrect. There were purchases they intended to make together, but Denmark only charged $3,000 to her credit card, she said. He is repaying her, she said.
Before giving the letters to police, Prince shared them with Ewbank. "We were flabbergasted," Ewbank said.
The women said they wanted to substantiate what they could before going to police. They looked for property records in Denmark's name and any reports of a house fire in local newspapers and with Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue. They found nothing.
Prince, who had sent Denmark a $400 check separate from the benefit, also spoke to him by phone in October. "He gave me four addresses," she said. "He finally admitted to me there was no fire."
Smith said he also was unable to substantiate Denmark's story. When confronted, Denmark told Smith in the police report that "he made up the story to get money. He added that he didn't have any knowledge of the benefit until it was too late.

I too know Mr.Fred Denmark for years and was also bitten by his deceit. Fred came to me and my wife crying that his daughter was arrested and he needed money to bail her out, my wife and I removed the money from our savings to help him out. What a mistake that was!!!!!

I asked Fred for our money many times and always got some excuse or another and well needless to say I never got all my money back, I'll tell you that if I ever see him again I will get it back even if I have to take him to court. as far as Martha Kaye I've met her on several occasions and at that time we were all going to Mrs Murphy's attending a show of a friend martha also was performing there, the story was that he was a cop with the Margate Police and he was fired. He told everyone that he was under cover and had compromised his cover while he was a manager for a strip club. we really believed him even though Joe warned us about him.

Fred is a liar!!!!!!!!big time and for the gentleman that claims he thinks Fred is a nice guy, my advice to you is to never loan him any money. I also hear that if you go on line and goggle his name or goggle Elvis Fraux the truth will be there. I have a friend that works for the City link magazine, she too wrote a piece on Fred's episodes with the law, when we saw it, we all said to our selves finally Fred's lies have caught up with him,

To his daughter, I'd be ashamed to call him my dad, I would not tell anyone that he was my dad. you should speak to Ms.Kaye to get the real truth!!!!!!

okay i have no idea as to what this is about! i am fred's 25 year old daughter my name is melissa and all i want to know is what this is about! is there any proof as to what these aligations are saying if so i am interested in seeing them if not then please do not disrespect my father or put him onblast for something he has not done... believe me i am the first to say my father is not perect but he is my father. i also would like to know how this person listed above got such personal information, as i know of my father was only married 3 times to my bio-mom helen, to katie and then to my mom wendy so inform me about this wife i never met! i am not bein rude nor am i being misunderstanding i just want to know the truth...... so if anyone has any info email me

I am also a victim of Fred aka Elvis. I met Fred several years ago when he worked in a used car dealership. I did business with the dearlership for insurance. I had not seen him in a couple of years.
I was working for a company next door to Java and ran into Fred we started talking and of course he made a pass at me which I didn't respond to at first. As time went by, I heard all the story as I guess other women have. I started to think maybe he is a good guy and I should take a chance. I did meet him for drinks on two occassions. And thank God that was all.
I opened my own business a few weeks later and Fred came to me for my service of which he need but had no money. I did this for him because I trusted him. Big mistake . I called him several times asking for the money and he always had a good excuss why he didn't have the money.
He always told me on each and every phone call he was crazy about me and wanted us to really start to date. For some reason I had a funny feeling not to.

I recieved a call from Fred one morning asking for more money he need for his grand daughter she needed a operation ??? I said no I could do that he got mad and never called me again. I never got the money he owes me and I can see why. Yes he is a good performer, the problem is he is always on stage. To the man who knows and likes Fred . You are not a women and there fore you have nothing that he wants. Until you really know someone and have been ripped off my him I think you should not say a word. He is what he is a conman of the lowest degree.

I feel bad for Fred.

I was vacationing down in Florida and caught a few of his shows (which were spectacular btw...) and I've come to know him a bit from talking with him before and/or after his shows.

First of all I'm 45 years old and a guy. Although Fred has disclosed no information to me about anything regarding a jilted lover, to me this seems to be a message of hate by exactly that. An obsessed fan perhaps. "If I can't have him, no one can" sort of thing.

The entire rant seems written in a flurry, more like a personal attack than a professional one. To me it reads like a drunken fit of anger, and I doubt any of it's facts.

I believe without doubt that Fred is a kind hearted and grounded individual making the most of his talents. From children to adults, it's obvious that when you go see him live that his biggest paycheck is that of a smiling and entertained audience.

I fully support Fred Alberts in all of his endeavors and ask that whomever reads the rant written about him to look at it carefully and tell me that was not some scorned ex (by my guess to be none other than "Martha Kaye" herself). It's apparent to me that it was her writing all of this because the direction of the complaint changes at that point, spelling errors pop up suddenly which leads me to believe that anger inflamed at the mention of that specific incident. How does "she" know Martha is a great person? Why would he let the two get so close if any of this were true?

I don't know "Martha Kaye" so my rebuttal is no personal attack, but I'm calling it as I see it, and I think all of the above is bull.
