#3 Consumer Suggestion

Make sure you read the fine print

AUTHOR: Betty - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, May 30, 2008

too often consumers think they are getting something for free. If at any point you need to provide any credit card number you are taking the chance of being charged. If it says free you shouldn't have to provide any access to any card numbers or account numbers. JUST DON'T DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. You will save yourself the hassle of filing a complaint, phone calls or disputes which can be denied because you failed to read the fine print. It's not right that the company is doing it, but consumers need to be more cautious. Greedy companies are feeding off of the people who do not read the terms and agreements.

It's right there on the frontpage in the same size font as everything else. You can't miss it. And, if I'm not mistaken, there is the same disclaimer on the TV commercial
