This company gives you a time for their program of 30 months. This is never expected to go that long, as they know the creditors won't wait and the amount at the start of the program will be much larger because they are unable or unwilling to negotiate a hold on intrest or late fees, etc. Then even if you follow the program as they set it up, you will be expected to come up with a large sum of money to pay the settlement they reach, for me it came in at 7 months into the program. If I could have come up with that kind of money that fast, what do I need them for. Then after 18 months into the program they ask for more money for extra fees because they don't expect you to be in the program that long, this of course cuts into the amount I can put aside for settlement, and the total debt has increase as well as the settlement percentage (50% to 65%). This all occurs with constant reminders of "read the contract", and "don't you have relatives or friends you can get the money from". They also tell me that I am not coming up with the appropriate amount of funds, even though I have the amount the contract states I should have, because I didn't have enough to settle. Then if through their negotiations the creditors involve lawyers, they are completely unable to help and only give advice you could get form anyone. This company doesn't do anything that anyone could do on their own.
