Freedom Lending Source Was told I'd recieve money overnight in my acct, but it turned out it can take up to 15 days and is a savings acct not a loan. Have been unable to find a way to cancel. Internet
*Consumer Suggestion: Once they get your numbers...call the bank!
*Consumer Comment: TERMS & CONDITIONS
I went online to get a payday loan overnight, but when I went to be website to check how much I could receive, I read where it was a savings acct. and I could not get cash. I tried to find a way to cancel it, but read that it costs $2.95 to cancel this which I did not authorize since I was trying for a loan not a secured saving acct. Also, there is no address shown to cancel this. I feel I do not owe anything because they are doing something which has not been authorized. This is fraudulent! Please help me keep them out of my bank account....

#2 Consumer Suggestion
Once they get your numbers...call the bank!

To Judy in Batesville, Mississippi (Report: #310180) Re: Freedom Lending Source. Once anyone has your bank account numbers or credit card numbers you can't call the bank fast enough. I've had similar situations happen (unauthorized charges) and have never been at a loss for help from the bank or credit card issuer as long as you let them know early on. Most banks will give you a "provisional credit" as soon as you file a dispute for the amount of the charge(s) but the downside is you may have to surrender your check card priveledges for up to 3 months and notify any creditors you pay by ACH of the change in account numbers. Remember, if the business you're dealing with has your personal information they can use it at any point in the future. So changing account numbers is definately worth the trouble.
