I responded to an email received from Free Patriot Gear, offering a free AutoVision Dash Cam to the first 500 people responding, just for the cost of shipping, which was further discounted if a Mastercard was used. My total cost of $5.80 was charged correctly.
I did receive the dash cam, but then a charge of $82.11 for a "catalog" from an unknown company showed up about a week later on my credit card billing, which I immediately disputed. Tracing the charge went back to this "free dash cam" order.
I double checked the email solicitation that I had received, and there is no place on the email advertisement before the two "Order Now Special Offer" buttons that mentions anything about further charges, subscriptions, etc., nor is there any mention of them on the page where you fill in your shipping address and credit card information.
In addition, my attempt to contact the company through their "support" button went to a dead domain and my email bounced back to me.

My credit card company was finally able to secure a refund of the $82.11 charge that was billed to me from an unknown company associated with Free Patriot Gear.
