FREIDMANS JEWERLY ripoff, dishonest, fraudulent billing TEMPLE Texas

I bought a wedding ring set in 1997 from the Freidmans in Temple Tx. It was on credit and I started paying on the ring, a stone fell about 2 months after I had it. So I took the ring back to the company and they said that it would be 6 weeks before I could get my rings back. I told the manager that I did not want them back. He said he would still have to send the rings to be repaired. I told him that was fine but I did not want to have to wait that long. So they could just keep the set.

For 2 years I never heard anything. In 2001 I got a letter from a collection agency saying that I owed the Temple Freidmans for a wedding band set. I contacted the collection agency and Freidmans Corp. And told them that I had returned the rings to the Temple (manager) and told them what he had told me, about not getting them back for 6 weeks and about me just letting them have the set back.

To this day I still get letters from the collection agency and Freidmans. It does not matter how you try to return something to this company you will still come out oweing them something. The ring set that I got was only $386.00 and it is still out there as me oweing this to them. Even after the fact that I do not have the items, they are or were at the jewerly store.
